Description:
SiriusRadio is a plugin for use with open source Squeeze Center software from Slim Devices. The plugin allows Sirius Satellite Radio subscribers to listen to Sirius streams available online from www.sirius.com and www.siriuscanada.ca via Squeezebox/Transporter hardware players. Unlike the plugin included with SqueezeCenter this version works with Sirius Canada and does not require an upgraded/premium subscription level.

Installation:

Unzip downloaded zip file appropriate directory (SC7). Folder names are case sensitive.
Windows: SqueezeCenter\server\Plugins\
Linux: /var/lib/squeezecenter/Plugins/ Soft Link: /usr/share/squeezecenter/Plugins/
OS X Single User: ~/Users/yourusername/Library/PreferencePanes/SqueezeCenter.prefpane/Contents/server/Plugins
OS X Multi User: ~/Library/PreferencePanes/SqueezeCenter.prefpane/Contents/server/Plugins
Review known issues section (see below) for additional configuration information.
Restart SlimServer.
Ensure plugin is listed and enabled from Server Settings / Internet Radio web page.
Enter your Sirius Radio online user name and password in Server Settings / Internet Radio web page.
Enjoy. For the best sound quality it's highly recommended that you upgrade your Sirius account for "CD Quality"/High Bitrate streams (additional fee).

Known Issues:

The built-in hardware WMA decoding in SB2/3/Transporters is now able to stream Sirius content (built-in WMA decoding NO LONGER has to be disabled).
MPlayer must be installed in order to decode WMA streams when using a non-Windows server with any hardware players that do not have hardware WMA decoding (SliMP3, SB, SBG, etc). Many people achieve this by installing the AlienBBC plugin which also requires installation of MPlayer (Linux Instructions / MAC Instructions).
If you experience connection timeouts when trying to play a stream, try increasing the radio station timeout setting (Server Settings -> Network).
Please make sure you're able to access www.sirius.com or www.siriuscanada.ca (for Canadian Sirius subscribers) from the computer which SqueezeCenter is running.
When posting to the web forums for troubleshooting help, please enable -d_plugin debugging within SqueezeCenter and post the debugging output log. This will provide extremely useful debugging information.
